Digital Multimeter:

A digital multimeter is also known as DMM. In today’s world, it is the most common items that are used as a test equipment in the electronics industry.

There are so many test equipment items in the market, but we use the multimeters to get the excellent readings of the basic measurements in the terms of ohms, volts, and amps. Digital and logic technology are used by digital multimeters.

Disadvantages of Digital Multimeters:

  • When the battery is low, the display will be dim, and makes it difficult to read.
  • It can record an error, in case of fluctuations or transients.
  • If the voltage is increased beyond the limit, the meter will be damaged.
  • Because of the digital nature, it is unsuitable for peaking tunable responses or adjusting tuning circuits.
  • They are expensive due to high manufacturing cost.
